Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park car park to temporarily close for improvement works.

07/07/2021

Due to essential resurfacing works Rochford District Council will be temporarily closing Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park car park from 11th July 2021.

Works are estimated to take 13 days to complete, subject to weather, and the car park plans to re-open to motorists again on 24th July.

Rochford District Council’s Portfolio Holder for IT, Tourism, Housing and Parking, Cllr Mr. Daniel Efde said: “The council has made ongoing improvements to the Country Park and to the car park itself, and it is good to see the continuation of this with the resurfacing of the car park entranceway soon to take place.

“We recognise Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park is an important and popular spot for our local residents and visitors to enjoy. Maintaining and improving the facilities is essential to keep this beautiful open space safe and accessible for all visitors”.
