Great Wakering Parish Council Villager of the Year Competition 2021

03/09/2021

Do you know of any unsung heroes in the village?

Great Wakering Parish Council would like you to nominate them for the Villager of the Year Award 2021. The Parish Council wishes to recognise a person who has voluntarily given up their own time to make an outstanding contribution either to the Parish of Great Wakering or its Parishioner(s). For example they may have undertaken deliveries or offered other support during the Covid pandemic or they may have contributed to enhance the amenity of life in Great Wakering in some other way.

The nominee must not be politically active, hold public office or be paid to undertake the works they are nominated for and both proposer and nominee must reside within the Parish of Great Wakering. Previous winners cannot win again.

Competition opens 6th September 2021 and closes for nominations 11th October 2021.

Nomination forms and full rules will be available on the website from the 6th September 2021.
