Ensure You Are Registered To Vote

Residents in the Rochford District can now view the names of all candidates standing in the upcoming election on our website at www.rochford.gov.uk/elections2019

Poll cards are being delivered to properties across the District between 14 November and 21 November. If you haven’t yet received your poll card, especially if you have recently moved to a new house, you may not be registered to vote. 

You do not need to take your poll card to the polling station (unless you have an anonymous registration) but you do need to be on the Electoral Register to vote in all UK elections and referendums. You are not automatically registered even if you pay council tax.

The last date to register for the Election on 12 December 2019 is 26 November 2019. 

If you require a postal vote you will need to complete and return an application form by 5pm on 26th November 2019.

If you require a proxy vote you will need to complete and return an application form by 5pm on 4th December 2019.
