Fitness Classes

06/01/2020

Women’s fitness classes will be available in the Rochford District for just £2 this New Year, giving you the opportunity to try out Clubbersize, Total Workout or Yoga.

These, has been made possible due to a grant provided by Active Rochford working in partnership with Rochford District Council and Active Life, in an effort to encourage women who might not normally take part in exercise to give it a try.

The venues are easily accessible and offer women a choice of activities, with local sessions at low cost and for all abilities. The sessions are inclusive and provide an opportunity to socialise and meet like-minded women.

Rochford District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Community, Cllr Mike Webb, said: “I’m delighted that Active Rochford, in partnership with Rochford District Council and Active Life, has provided this grant to support these new exercise classes for local women.

“These sessions are fun, friendly and are given in a non-judgemental environment, giving local women the opportunity to break-down the barriers to getting active and healthy.”
