Rochford District Council Tell Me More Service

14/12/2016

Local news that matters to you – direct to your inbox

Do you want to know the latest on local planning, family events, sporting activities, bin collections and much more?

Then sign up to the new ‘#Tell Me More’ service from Rochford District Council, which provides tailor-made alerts on the subjects that matter to YOU.

To register, simply visit www.rochford.gov.uk/TellMeMore where you will be asked to join the ‘#Tell Me More’ service. You can then pick the services and activities you are interested in, so updates can be sent straight to your email account.

This is being launched along-side a new-look website, which should be much simpler to navigate and is compatible with mobile phones.

Cllr George Ioannou, Rochford District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Enterprise, said: “We have launched #Tell Me More because it is so important to keep residents up-to-date on the subjects that matter to them. It’s free, and a great way to find out exactly what is going on in the Rochford District when it comes to your local services.

“I’m also pleased to say that we now have an easier-to-use website, which should make life a lot simpler for local residents and businesses.”

Anyone currently signed up to Rochford Business News, or in the Council’s ‘Have Your Say’ group, will automatically receive alerts through the new system.

You can also find out about the new service on social media using the hashtag #TellMeMore

Please note that if you have ‘bookmarked’ pages from the old website they will no longer work, you will need to update them with the new website.
