Wild Woods Day 2019

We have a few opportunities for local businesses to get involved with Wild Woods Day 2019, taking place Saturday 20 July 2019 at Hockley Woods.

Wild Woods Day began in 2003 as a small, local event and has grown to become an established date in the Rochford District calendar with thousands visiting each year from across the County and beyond.

Visitors enjoy a day of discovery in the unique setting of Hockley's ancient woodlands. Offering free entry, the event has a focus on ‘green’ themes including recycling, sustainability and protecting the local environment.

Previous Wild Woods Days have attracted over 4,000 visitors, and have featured exciting activities, experiences and entertainment, in difference zones including a Create & Play Zone, Green Zone, Active Zone and Wild Zone.

Stall Holders

We have an open call for market stall holders, aimed at voluntary groups, charities and businesses, to support the Wild Woods Day focus of recycling, sustainability and protecting the local environment. Organisations that produce up cycled arts and crafts, organic goods, or promote green and healthy living are just some examples of the kind of stalls the council would like to attract to the event. Catering Space

We have an open tender for caterers to be part of our event, the formal application details of which can be found with further information via https://www.delta-esourcing.com/ with Access code: T796525U57. Apply by Friday 15 February 2019!

Sponsorship

If you would like to be involved in Wild Woods Day but do not wish to apply for a market stall or catering space, we also have opportunities for sponsorship; for further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
